PDHW
Got a cylinder for your hot water and a condensing boiler? Priority hot water could help you save a small fortune with payback in as little as a year.
If you don't know what PDHW is, you could be in for a bit of a shock. Most modern boilers will be compatible, but the costs do vary... Some can be as little as a few hundred quid to convert and believe me, once you've experienced it you'll never look back.
PDHW is the process of making the hot water a priority circuit, often just through some controls magic. By making the hot water priority, we effectively split the job done by the boiler so you can run your heating at varying temperatures, allowing your boiler to fully condense on heating mode and keeping it in full condensing for the longest possible time. You'll save gas and find that it's just more convenient overall.
Unfortunately this isn't covered in my fixed price smart controls deal because there are too many variables and each one needs a case by case assessment to (a) find out if it's right for you and (b) work out how it can be achieved for the best price. Contact me for more information as I will be happy to help.
